About Van Buren County Court Docket

Van Buren County dockets and case files are divided among the Circuit Court Clerk, the Clerk and Master, Spencer Municipal Court, and Tennessee appellate offices. No single portal ties every local record together. This private reference resource organizes the official search routes, addresses, and phone numbers so readers can start with the office that actually keeps the requested docket.

Why We Built This Site

Tennessee recognizes public access to public court records, but finding the custodian can still be difficult. Van Buren County Circuit Court Clerk Lavetta Simmons handles Circuit and the Session and Juvenile functions described by the county. Clerk and Master Tina Shockley handles Chancery and probate records. Spencer’s clerk keeps municipal matters. The Tennessee Public Court Records System is useful only for participating offices, and the reviewed list did not include Van Buren County. We arrange these distinct routes with practical request steps and official contacts.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately operated reference website, with no affiliation to a Tennessee court, clerk, or government agency. Those limits mean we cannot:

  • We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
  • We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
  • We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
  • We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
  • We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or setting listed on this site is current right now

An official or certified record must come from the court that heard the matter or its clerk. This resource can identify that office, but cannot issue the document.

Search Partners

Outside providers power search boxes on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports free access to this resource. We do not determine the provider’s charges or the records returned.
